NSPCC heavily involved in National Inquiry into child sexual abuse

Jon Brown of the NSPCC joins Inquiry

In the summer of 2014 the Office of the Children's Commissioner launched a national Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse in the Family. This Inquiry is likely to take up to 2 years to complete and this month it was announced that Jon Brown, the NSPCC lead strategist for child abuse and a qualified social worker, joined the team.

In an extract from Mr Browns latest blog post he states that "We’re reaching a turning point in acknowledging and addressing child sexual abuse". More about the Inquiry can be found here on the Childrens Commissioners website.
