Leeds man given 10 year sentence for sexual abuse

A 22 year old man was given a 10 year extended prison sentence following his sexual abuse of a young victim.

He pleaded guilty to four sexual assaults on a child under the age of 13 and to one of inciting a child to engage in sexual activity.

The young victim in the case provided a clear account of the abuse after coming forward to tell her mother and the police what had happened. The evidence that had been provided was crucial for bringing her abuser to court and her bravery was praised by the judge involved.
