Gang of lads trying to get into their house

My children were asleep and I went to my neighbour’s house to help as there was a gang of lads trying to get into their house.

I asked the gang to keep the noise down and to leave. As I turned to leave two of the gang attacked me. I was hit with a bottle and knocked to the ground. The two men then used my head as a football, and kicked me several times.

The attack was unprovoked and there were witnesses. I reported what happened to the police.
